Green Recycling Program
Each year Dundee Recycling will have trees planted across the province as part of its green recycling program initiative. All trees donated are planted in the springtime. Dundee Recycling has teamed up with Forests Ontario to help save our earth by planting 1 tree for every 50 customers that recycle their metals and cars with us.
Planting Trees For Our Future
Planting trees will help us grow smarter, healthier and greener forests, and sustainably manage Ontario’s most important natural resource for decades to come. Also, trees conserve energy. Three trees placed strategically around a single-family home can cut summer air conditioning needs by up to 50 percent. By reducing the energy demand for cooling our houses, we reduce carbon dioxide and other pollution emissions from power plants!
